This place had incredibly polite staff, a perfect location near the beach, a pleasant surprise with Starbucks just 1 km away, and a nice bar.

I spent 2 lovely nights in Portsmouth. the room was reasonably large and airy, with a super comfortable bed. the on-site restaurant, Hungry Horse, was a bonus – had dinner there.

Welcome base for celebrations with pleasant employees on shift. The rooms for z beds. Delicious food served, like coffee, cereal and fruit. A quiet and great hotel, my first choice in Portsmouth.

Out of town was ideal; avoiding city traffic. Parking was no problem. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room clean. Excellent bed. Temperature in the room good, with the availability to switch on the heater. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice....  

Great location near the ferry terminal and port, and the staff here are super helpful and caring 👍.

Location and value for money

This is the 6th visit to the Inn lodge this year and once again it was let down by the standard of cleaning in the room, and general housekeeping such as making the bed correctly, The duvet was just thrown over the bed with no attention to detail, this was reported to the management on several occasions, no one got back to me until I signed out on the last day. The hotel offered me an upgrade on my next visit. For an executive room I was not happy with the service.

The location was incredible and pleasant, within walking distance of a shopping mall. Loved the fairly quiet area.

The room was spacious and bright, and the bathroom was a decent size, only a short 10-minute walk to Ocean Park bus stop.
